The biggest surprises for him were how adaptable the role is, not only in terms of working hours, but also location. He also values the atmosphere and the strong connections he has formed, mentioning his team as a great group to work with.

Outside of work, Bartosz spends his time playing tennis, running, and exploring new destinations, especially in the Middle East. He frequently runs half marathons and has even completed a few full marathons over the past six months.

Favorite McDonald’s item? A classic McWrap, although, a McFlurry would take the top spot if it always came with the extra chocolate sauce he orders.

Marcelina,
Intern in Material Planning & Procurement

Engineering student. In her day-to-day internship, Marcelina supports the team in coordinating activities between clients, warehouses, and suppliers, while learning about planning processes and order management to ensure smooth operations.

What stood out to her most is the supportive environment, where everyone is approachable, and new interns are paired with a buddy who helps them get started and feel comfortable in their role. Marcelina describes her team as very helpful and welcoming, making her experience at HAVI even more positive.

During her internship, Marcelina has been developing practical skills such as planning, order management, problem-solving, and communication, all of which she sees as valuable for her future. In her free time, she enjoys cooking and baking, and occasionally brings her delicious treats to the office.

Favorite McDonald’s item? As a kid, it was the Happy Meal, now, it’s definitely a McSupreme with fries.

Mikołaj,
Intern in Material Planning & Procurement

Logistics student. In his day-to-day work, Mikołaj supports the claims management process. This includes handling cases related to missing or damaged items reported by distribution centers and working towards fair and effective resolutions for all parties involved.

What surprised him most is the flexibility of the role; he can work remotely and choose his office hours, which helps him balance his internship with his studies.

During his internship, he has been developing practical skills like Excel and gaining logistics knowledge, while also improving his communication in a professional setting.

In his free time, Mikołaj enjoys running, 7-10 km 3 times a week, and playing chess.

He discovered HAVI through a Logistics Day event organized in collaboration with a student logistics organization, which sparked his interest in applying.
